Catfishers Beware

Let me define a term: Catfisher. Catfishers are people pretending to be beautiful women or men, but they want you to give them credit card info, or steal your personal information. There are many scammers online and calling your phone daily, but catfishers are the worst of the worst.

A man or woman is looking for true love, and there is a slimeball on the other side trying to pretend to their future spouse. They use tactics like trying to give you a pet name and warming up really fast. They want to lead you along for about a week then ask for money often to be able to travel and meet you. At best, they only waste many of your hours for a week. But they pull at people’s hearts and break hearts. They dash hopes. And sometimes they steal your money.

These Catfishers have no morals. They will try and come on strong and get into cybersex as soon as possible. They know if you’re really desperate, they got you hooked! If they can’t get into cybersex as fast as possible, they will still give you a pet name and act affectionately to you. They want you believing they are someone who cares for you, so they can steal your identity information and if possible, your money. They don’t care about you for a second. They actually hate you, but they are pretending to love you to steal from you.

This person does not believe in God, or they’d know God sees all. Catfishers should not be making light of the importance and prayers of someone seeking love. You can even pray and talk about God and they get excited! They think, “Hey, here’s a person who thinks I’d back away from being an evil scammer if God is talked about. This person just gave me trust!” They think that people who talk about God are an easier mark. They don’t stop to think for a moment that by defying God that they are in more trouble for punishment. They just think, “Hey this guy thinks I would be afraid of God. I’m not, but he’ll trust me and be an easier person to scam.”

People are seeking true love. People are out looking for the love of their life, but some snake is pretending to be that person. This lowlife snake is even trying to elicit sexual desire and hope in their hearts. I don’t know what would make a person risk this in front of The God of Love who sees all! Men are looking for true love to forge a lasting marriage of love and bondship. Yet some weasel is there trying to waste his time, money and make true love-seekers despair! They might not know it, but they serve the devil.

Look, if they steal money by normal means, it is bad enough. Maybe God won’t curse them if you had important things to do like feed your family or buy medicine. But if they are trying to pretend to be a man’s potential partner, maybe even trying to elicit sexual desire… oh man, catfish risk being cursed in the worst worldly way possible. Do you know God can reduce their very ability to enjoy intimacy if they try and scam a person looking for true love at a dating site?

If one scams people who’s hearts are seeking true love, there are many ways that God could curse them. The most obvious is that he can make them unable to have children. No matter how much they make love to their partner, they’d never have kids. It is a terrible curse to not be able to have kids.

Another curse God could lay on someone who is an even worse scammer is he could make them impotent. God can say a word and a man couldn’t ever be able to have an erection again. One might go, “Well, I’ll just take a pill and fix that.”, but if they have done enough evil scamming, God can say another word and pills won’t even let it get up. God can literally make it impossible for those men who scam to ever get an erection. It is a terrible evil to want to scam people seeking true love. You can think these curses can also apply to people who mistreat or force themselves on others.

Another curse God can lay on someone who is out to catfish people seeking true love is the inability to enjoy intimacy themselves as much. It might start off like sex feeling not as great as it used to. If they remain in their evil ways, God could say a word and all pleasure is removed from the act completely. They could desperately try and make love to try and get some feeling in their loins, but no pleasure could be had from the act.

Finally, you know that God does send diseases on some people who misuse sex. Not everyone who gets a sexually transmitted disease really deserved it because they were sinning. So if you have an STD, it does not automatically mean it was a punishment from God. However, those who are sexually immoral, and do not keep it within marriage are more likely to get an STD. And those who anger God by making it their mission to try and relentlessly scam some money off people looking for true love, God might be angered and send a plague upon them. The last curse talked about getting no pleasure from sex. An STD can make sex and urinating actually painful. Do not scam people. Do not mistreat or force yourself sexually on others.

What you get by dishonesty you may enjoy like the finest food, but sooner or later it will be like a mouthful of sand. Proverbs 20:17 (GNT).

I don’t say this stuff hoping people get cursed. I do know God curses scammers. I am saying this stuff as a warning so fewer people want to be scammers. I want fewer people to be cursed. We know in the Bible that those who love to curse attract curses upon themselves. We extend that to reason that those who love to wish blessings on others get blessings upon themselves. I seek to have people avoid being cursed which is like a blessing to others. It is a blessing to would-be scammers who stay true to the cause of love and honor. And it is a blessing to those not getting scammed by them.

A lot of people don’t know there is a literal spiritual reality that is stronger than fleshly reality that we can touch and see. If you know there is a link between the spirit and the flesh, you take care of your spiritual side. You try and be righteous, holy, good, selfless and help everyone. You try and love everyone you meet even if they don’t love you. If you take care of your spirit, God takes joy in taking care of your flesh also. If you do evil and let your spirit slowly rot away, your flesh often will follow suit and rot away too.

Sin feels good at first. Then the feeling of pleasure goes away over time. God can reduce your ability to enjoy stolen food. God can reduce your ability to enjoy any other human sense. I’ve been catfished several times, but they never got money. When I realize they are a faker, I warn em that God sees everything. I don’t want anyone cursed, but like people gotta be warned or they will probably get cursed in some ways.

What is nice is that the opposite is true too… If you really seek God to do good and be loving… If everything you do is in truth, love, and honesty… If you respect the planet you live on and caretake for animals and appreciate the beauty God put in it… If you try and be humble and follow Jesus… you can become blessed beyond your imagination.

Who needs to buy fancy high-class foods when God enhances your ability to enjoy food? God’s been super favoring me lately. I ate a regular ham sandwich the other day. It tasted better than prime rib or sushi. Like a ham sandwich should for no reason taste like Heaven. It is quite ordinary yet God enhanced it to taste otherworldly. But God has been out of control blessing me recently in every aspect and sense.

I want other people to experience gifts from God, not curses. God loves you, and I love those who God loves. So I love ya too. Take it from me, God is real! Jesus is LORD! Jesus rules! Get good with the guy upstairs. You can feel like you’re personally experiencing Heaven before you even get there!

May I finally clarify: It isn’t as simple as following Jesus and everything becomes cosmically aligned so you are now a walking focus of divine blessings. It is your best move to follow Jesus, but don’t think you are messing up if blessings do not follow immediately. New believers and even strong believers get tempted, tried and bear sufferings from the evil one oftentimes. You must still follow God and love him when bogus stuff happens. The worst stuff imaginable may happen to you or your family. It does not mean you deserve it. Still love God. Your blessings that God wanted to give you become amplified for later! Remember, if you do become that walking focus of God-given happiness, joy, and pleasure, we are still not in Heaven: One trial might be going from that amazing high to a deep low and still love God.

No matter how good it gets, praise God and depend on him. No matter how bad things get, praise God and depend on him. Say, “Glory to God in good times. Glory to God in troubled times.” No matter how bad you or your family suffers, God gives hope for healing or resurrection. The doctors may be unable to cure something. It may even be genetic. God can cure anything! So pray and have hope for a cure and a resurrection. This hope can bring more than a spark of joy in the darkest times. And remember our hero Jesus who in his darkest hour of pain and suffering, still loved us and His Father!

Some of us may have actually scammed someone in the past. Some of us may have misused sex. Some of us may have actually received curses from God for doing those things. This does not mean automatically that you are beyond salvation. God might not lift your curse in this life. God might not take away your STD in this life. Still, call upon Jesus, and he will forgive you of sin. This article is written in hopes that maybe some scammers and sexual deviants will come to their senses before hurting their fellow man and woman. There are real penalties from God for doing such evil. Sometimes calling upon Jesus will not get you away from the Earthly consequences of those, which might even include jail. Never think you are beyond hope as long as you are breathing though. Call upon Jesus and escape eternal torment. The worst of us can get to the highest of highs of Heaven if we follow Jesus and seek to do good. Knowing this, avoid sexual immorality and try and be good and loving now. There are real consequences to doing evil on this Earth. Do not do evil. Do good.

Bonus material: Ways to avoid being scammed on the Internet.

The first thing to think on the Internet is that people are out to gain, and not just give money away generally. So almost always if someone says they want to give you a lot of money, they want to take something from you instead.

If someone asks for your bank account to give you money, do not give them your bank account. They will be withdrawing money.

Do not give anyone but trustable sites your credit card.

Ever since the US Justice Department failed to prosecute “Free Credit Reports” from automatically doing recurring payments, don’t even trust sites that are free or nearly free.

If something says it’s free, but you go into it and they charge for their service, they are liars and you should not give them any money. Example: My friend wanted me to look up addresses corresponding to a phone number. I went to a site claiming to be free, but then they asked for $0.95. My friend said he’d pay for it. I had to teach him this is likely a scam. No one who claims to give something away for free charges actual money. Only a scam artist does that.

When you sign up for things on the Internet, do not use the main email that you give your friends and family to communicate. Have a secondary, tertiary, quaternary, etc email for that. If you’re on the Internet, you should have many many emails. By signing up for things with different emails, you do not get much spam on your main account. If you wanted to experiment, make a free email for every site you sign up for. Then when you get spammed with unrelated sites, you would know which site sold your email out to third parties like jerks. That would make for a good youtube special.

If you suspect someone is a Catfisher, and they are talking in broken English, they just might be. If they talk in vague terms which your autoresponder on your phone might say like, “Yeah. Okay. Tell me more. Gotcha. Yup. I agree.” They probably are a chatbot managing you and dozens of other guys waiting for you to say something they can hook you with.

As sad as it is, tries not to give anyone your age, work, home address, friends or family’s phone numbers. If you must give out your phone number, try and have a good idea that they’re a real person, or be like me and have a secondary phone. There are phone plans for just 8$ a month. Having two phones for 16$ is still cheaper than 60$ landlines used to be. Having two phones is excessive security, and many do not need it.

If you are trying to see if you want to date someone and they text you, “Yeah, I can meet you for free.” They are probably an escort service. Real women do not talk about meeting you free of charge.

If someone says they need to “Verify your age”, that is also very sketchy too. This is something someone said to me once. There are all sorts of things people say that are weird like a foreigner trying to scam you would say. Keep an ear out about you and if they sound like not a normal human being, that is a red flag. Like dating someone in person: Too many red flags and just ignore them and move on.
