Why did they say not to laugh at Covid? It is not a joke people are dying? Well morbid as it sounds, most famous comedians make fun of death and dying. Tyrants just don’t like being laughed at so they will tell others not to laugh or joke about things.
John Cleese said it best about tyrants,”You have have absolutely no sense of humor, do you?” One of the hallmarks of a tyrants is that they not enjoy life, so they wish to push their suffering on others. They have abandoned the ways of love for the idol of hate and God says not to fear them, but to laugh at the enemy.
Psalm 52 “God and the Righteous Laugh at Tyrants”
1 Why do you boast, great one, of your evil?
God’s faithfulness is eternal.
2 You make plans to ruin others;
your tongue is like a sharp razor.
You are always inventing lies.
3 You love evil more than good
and falsehood more than truth.
4 You love to hurt people with your words, you liar!
5 So God will ruin you forever;
he will take hold of you and snatch you from your home;
he will remove you from the world of the living.
6 Righteous people will see this and be afraid;
then they will laugh at you and say,
7 “Look, here is someone who did not depend on God for safety,
but trusted instead in great wealth
and looked for security in being wicked.”
8 But I am like an olive tree growing in the house of God;
I trust in his constant love forever and ever.
9 I will always thank you, God, for what you have done;
in the presence of your people
I will proclaim that you are good.
The way it works is this: If you pray for your nation, and you help everyone around you in love as Jesus, that’s all you can do. If people choose to keep being willfully ignorant that they must love and be good so they turn and take money to protest their own country or sell you out…. Then that’s their problem. Even if God destroys entire nations, God will see the righteous safely through. He did it with lot with Sodom, and it is a repeated theme. In fact when God ushers in the end of Revelation with all nations being threshed, it does not appear so much of a rapture, but that the righteous are separated from the wicked to not get the painful punishment coming on those who would hate, harm and seek to enslave and control their brothers and soul sistas.
As Christians, we do our best to tell people,”Yo, no matter how evil you are, Jesus forgives it all. Just be good now.” We tell people,”Are you exploiting people and hurting em? Hell is not your destination if you free them, stop abusing and empower them. Turn from a bad person to a good person with Jesus. A guy could genocide a million people, it happens often in Africa often from Iran’s Tyranny. After genociding a million people and realizing their is no spiritual power gained through hate, a man often goes,”I CHOSE WRONG! But I’m in too deep!!! I wish I could go good and avoid destruction, but good would never have me back after the wrongs I did.” Jesus died so we’re forgiven. You could genocide a million people, have all wrongs forgotten then somehow be one of the greatest saints and company of angels if you turn to the blood of Jesus to wash away your sins. Jesus forgives everyone who asks him. It is that easy. It was not easy for God to die on the cross, but it is easy for you to say,”Jesus, I messed up! Forgive my evil. Let me live for everyone to love and help them as my mission. Togetherness and joy is the way and man does it make a guy feel good to help others!” Ask for forgiveness, Jesus always gives it.
So we tell everyone to help your fellow bro and soul sistas. We try and live a life where we serve others to help them. If people do not listen to our words, and choose to hate and harm, be all grabby grabby for stuff to the point of violence like bad guy gangsters, or become executive robber barons, or become politicians to push war for fun… We did our job, we tried our best, we prayed for em, and they still didn’t listen. As they start harming others and threatening people, do not be afraid, for we have a God of Power. Just laugh at the tyrants, they hate that. Well they hate everything, and they might not see it, but hate is all you have when you put anything to be more important than love.
They say it is not foolishness to give up what you cannot keep to trade for that which is greater and you can keep forever. This is the Christian’s walk and release on the grip of materialism to take hold of love. Sometimes God even blesses you on Earth. The God of Love is the God of Lovemaking, and when you grip onto love, sometimes you get to grip into lovemaking (A book I wrote to debunk a lie of CNN calling Christian lovemaking dry and boring). So the opposite is true of Tyrants. They are fools because they’re wasting their mortal lives chasing the illusion of control and giving up all hope forever.
Christians do not laugh at Tyrant’s souls lost. We wish everyone would be good and loving! We laugh at Tyrants when they threaten us thinking we’ll be intimidated. The people who push fear thinking it is a strong weapon are the biggest cowards on Earth. A lot of these Tyrants are doing this not for money even, but just because they found it empty at the top and want to control for fun, choosing Dr. Evil as their role model. They think Dr. Evil makes tyranny cool, well the person you want to be is a clown, so when we all laughing at you now and forever, remember you wanted to be a clown from clown town. Those who want to be like Jesus will become like God and live in pleasure forever. Those who want to be something that is not love will live in pain forever, for love must be first always. We should love friends because they’re our friends, not because we want to exploit them or play with their toys. Love is greater than all.
