Hello, as you know nearly no Video Games are Christian. It isn’t that Christianity is boring, quite far from it. With God, you’re able to do anything you want if you heart is in love God wills it. That means reality is stranger than fantasy. Fantasy is a subset of our imagination though. And Mr. Rogers taught us that Make Believe is fine.
There is good and bad when it comes to all of mankind’s art. You can have a movie that is great like The Ten Commandments or Ben Hur. Then you can have sexually sinful and terrible movies like everything that came out since 1998. You can have a good book like the Bible. Then you can have a bad book that promotes kids into corruption. You can have good music like Jim Neighbors sings “Go Tell it on the Mountain”, or you can have bad music that encourages kids to get into gangs and slander everyone.
In between the good and bad, there is a range. Some Christians might say The Rifleman western is bad because it is gritty like real life. Others will acknowledge that Chuck Connor’s character tries to act Christian and moral all the time, but is forced to defend himself and his family. I try and stay on the good side of the range.
Aas a Christian, all my video games are on some level never going to go into the deep dark, like no super excessive gore, glorification of evil, or sexual sin. The following games though are very very Christianlike and made for Christian audiences and Children.
