Real Satisfaction

I’m satisfied. I make less than 20 grand a year. I have no wife. I have a recent medical condition where I’m constantly in pain (1-3 out of 10) that I’ll be getting checked out next week. It probably should be no big deal, prayers are cool, but I am in incredibly good spirits. I know I don’t need to achieve anything in this life for God to love me and have me live forever. Jesus is the one who achieved the perfect life and actual tasks worthy of being worshiped. (Update: As of 12/10/2019 my medical condition has drastically improved and I have little to no pain at the time of posting.)

So, if you have God and nothing else, we have more than we need. God can grant us infinite amounts of cool stuff, joys, pleasures and rocket cars. We don’t actually need luxuries though. God’s friendship is infinitely better than anything he can grant us! So we should be satisfied having a friendship with God Almighty.

Our best friends, we don’t use for their stuff. Our best friends are our best friends because they are cool with us. God is cool to us always. If tough times come, they are often sent by the devil. If God promises prosperity for following his ways, but times of suffering come, your prosperity will be amplified when it does reach you.

18 “I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.”

Romans 8:18 (GNT).

Anyway, that’s just a long primer to say that I don’t need anything to be happy. I’m happy having God as a friend even when I’m sitting here in mild pain. It is strange, my spirit feels like it has some righteous fury going on as I trust that God can help me even when things go bad. It isn’t even something I have to engineer a will to go on, but something supernatural driving me forward. Even if we get worse and worse, going from bad pain to another, we cling to God. The worst thing the devil can do is kill us, but that just sends us to Heaven. So things will always get better. We will never suffer in Heaven. So when we’re at our lowest in this fallen world, praise and glorify God, and your praise will be remembered forever.

21 “For what is life? To me, it is Christ. Death, then, will bring more.”

Philippians 1:21 (GNT).

I’m not even at my lowest. I’m in pain but satisfied that I have God as a friend. Thank God for being a friend. Thanks for giving me a victorious spirit. I wish I could explain being fully satisfied and like glowing inside with love for my Creator and Savior. I keep telling you guys and gals that God is real in hopes that your core can be filled with joy, happiness, determination, and satisfaction.

11 “And I am not saying this because I feel neglected, for I have learned to be satisfied with what I have. 12 I know what it is to be in need and what it is to have more than enough. I have learned this secret, so that anywhere, at any time, I am content, whether I am full or hungry, whether I have too much or too little. 13 I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me.”

Philippians 4:11-13 (GNT).

The world doesn’t have anything to offer compared to what God could grant you. Then when you realize God’s friendship alone is literally the greatest thing possible to have, you can get stoked and satisfied. God makes friends with anyone who obeys his son Jesus Christ and tries their best to be good and loving to all. Get the greatest thing possible in any reality. Get God as a friend. Make amends with Jesus.
