Climbing a Spiritual Mountain

When climbing a spiritual mountain, you often don’t need to even reach the peak to win.

I serve God in more ways than just posting here and encouraging you ladies and gentlemen that God is real. God loves you. That is awesome right there, more awesome than anything. But there is only so much I can do here. So I serve God in other ways.

“So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.”

Galatians 6:9 (GNT).

When I am at my busiest I work for days, weeks, or even months on projects for God. When success is just around the corner, the devil can’t stand it and does what he can to step into my life. This often comes in the form of distractions, injury, pain, and suffering. This can sometimes even happen right before the dawn of a new milestone. The first thought we have is,”We were sooooo close!” The distraction can turn your mind into a dangerous place for the devil to play in. Instead, just praise God! The devil played his hand to try and stop you, all you need to do is praise Jesus until the trial is over..

See, the devil has a lot of problems all over the Earth and he knows he already lost, but his fallen prideful nature wants others to fall too. He hopes problems go away (us stop striving for Jesus), but once he sees he cannot discourage our service, he may step in. And when you know the devil played his hand, its a losing hand because he always has to ask God for permission to test us.  Every time the devil sends trials our way and we praise God, its yet another triumphant win. Praising God with songs glorifies God, and even upsets the devil even though our purpose is just glorifying God.

So don’t ever get intimidated that the spiritual mountain you have to climb is big, you often get successes along the way, and serve God even before it’s done.

“It was because you do not have enough faith,” answered Jesus. “I assure you that if you have faith as big as a mustard seed, you can say to this hill, ‘Go from here to there!’ and it will go. You could do anything!”

Matthew 17:20 (GNT).

Don’t get frustrated when everything conspires against you to get in your way, just praise God!

“I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.”

Romans 8:18

You would be winning battles against principalities of evil! Even if you lose your battles, Jesus won the war. So always be confident with Jesus and eternal life. Living forever later lets us live selflessly easier now.
