Hello, my name is Jim Sager. I was a Christian when I was young. When I was 11, I told God,”Sunday School makes serving you sound like you give meaning to life, and you’re a very good and loving being to serve. I’d love to do that, but I have doubt you exist. What if my doubt leads others to lose faith? If you let me know you’re real, I’d serve you.” I stopped going to church for some reason and drifted away from the faith. I still tried to be good under my own rules, but of course that always fails. People would ask me,”Jim, what do you think about religion?” I’d say,”You should ask a religious leader, which I am not. So don’t ask me.” At least I had the knowledge to not sit in the seat of the mocker’s of Christ as I watched Jesus depicted slanderously on South Park. I thought to myself,”I merely do not know if God is real. If Jesus is real, he deserves infinite respect. So I should not laugh at this.” and shut South Park off.
