To be the world’s friend means to be God’s enemy

When you ask someone who does not have the spirit of God to define success, they will be baffled. Some will say if you are good at your hobby. Some will say if everyone looks up to you. Others will say if you have your health. Some will say if you have a bunch of money, spouse and fame.” Others don’t know and it bothers them they can’t find out what life means to begin to understand how to succeed in it.

Jim Carrey: “I wish everyone could get rich and famous and everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that’s not the answer.”

James 4:4 Where do all the fights and quarrels among you come from? They come from your desires for pleasure, which are constantly fighting within you. 2 You want things, but you cannot have them, so you are ready to kill; you strongly desire things, but you cannot get them, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have what you want because you do not ask God for it. 3 And when you ask, you do not receive it, because your motives are bad; you ask for things to use for your own pleasures. 4 Unfaithful people! Don’t you know that to be the world’s friend means to be God’s enemy? If you want to be the world’s friend, you make yourself God’s enemy.

To succeed in life, you must always love everyone. You help others even if they’re evil jerks to you. You go out every day you can and work so you have more to give others. Yes, take a day a rest occasionally. You need that to work optimally.
Still, to love others is not to just work hard and give them stuff. Sometimes the troubles people go through has nothing to do with stuff at all, but their feelings, emotions and their spirit. Everyone wants hope. Everyone wants to know the truth.

The truth is that we are all brothers and sisters of humanity and we should be out to help one another. It doesn’t matter if we win or lose our battles, but that we just keep the faith and don’t give up. We might fall down, but we Chumbawumba get back up. Of course, try and get your head above water before lifting others out of the deep. Whether we win or lose our battles, we just need to try… For Jesus won the war on the cross when eternity was at stake. Now we just need to embrace love and selflessness, have a desire to help others even if they’re jerks, and love in all actions because of Jesus and the love we have in us will keep us for eternity.
