Remember the devil operates by trying to get you despairing, sad, depressed and without hope. A Christian’s goal is to stoke and encourage others in their lives even if we can’t convince them to have faith in Jesus immediately.
There is a lot to life. People just getting by is a thing. In fact that is the first thing most unspiritual people think about is getting by. So encourage people in their getting by. Encourage them in their hobbies. If someone is getting enjoyment in life from a non sinful activity, encourage them in that too.
You get people prepared that there is more to life than just the day to day when you encourage them in enjoying life in ways past that which money can buy. If you befriend people, and always are nice to them, except in cases when they like to be trolled, you’re doing them a good service. A lot of people like those who encourage them which can lead you to a better place to fish for men and give them Jesus. The devil is always discouraging people in everything, so encouraging them where you can isn’t a bad plan.
Look, God is real. I tell you this every day. God is love. God loves you. There isn’t anything better in life real or imagined than friendship with God. If you spread the love of Jesus, you get closer with God. It is hard to explain, but the closer you walk with God, the better everything goes even if suffering comes for a temporary trial. When you overcome suffering when doing good, your blessings are amplified.
You know me, I’ve been walking with God selflessly as long as I could. I just come online and tell people about God, first mass emails, next Fark and Digg and Slashdot, then millions of tweets on twitter, now I’ve been on Reddit for years. I’m all in for the cause of Jesus.
I want to tell you a secret. If you’re all in for the cause of goodness and love, encouraging some, and giving Jesus to all you can, then God gets all in for you too. God can bless you in ways that money can’t buy. He can make your food taste better, your body feel amazing, your mind to be sharp, your joy to be high, and even your body to elicit pleasure just chillin’ around. God can get you higher than any drug if he chooses, and I’m like that now.
Before God let me know he existed in 2003, I was depressed. I was lonely at parties with people around. When God let me know he exists, I instantly became undepressed. I found out that we live forever. Anything is possible like fantasy movies or novels. I am perma stoked. And I was all out for the cause of goodness and love… And recently, God has been sending waves of euphoria upon me as if I was in Heaven right this very moment. There is no limit to how high, joyful, and pleasure filled you can get when you walk with him.
Obviously, you do not try and strong arm God,”Yo, make me feel good or I won’t serve you.” Just be all in for the cause of God and see what happens. I wasn’t expecting to feel like my body was existing in Heaven right now, but that’s how I feel. Being in an extreme state of satisfaction makes me try to be a bigger prayer warrior for the sick and hungry poor. Everything you say will be heard by all, even things in secret, so try to be very selfless in mind, word and action. God doesn’t mind hearing from your own needs and desires though. There’s so much to say, but just follow Jesus. He is really worth serving, and be stoked that he loves you! Jesus is LORD!
