I’m satisfied. I have enough to eat and drink. I have my health. I have entertainment and hobbies. I don’t have a wife. But I’m satisfied. I have God. Take away my entertainment and hobbies, and I’m still satisfied with God. Take away my food and drink, take away my health, and I’ll cling to God until I die and be satisfied again when I’m in Heaven living forever.
1 Timothy 6:6 Well, religion does make us very rich, if we are satisfied with what we have.
The assurance of eternal life through Jesus gives me peace. It is a blessing to know the guy. He truly is a BFF. He loves us and is always with us. He’s with you in all you do, so take him to cool places not down into a gutter path. But guess what, if you’ve taken the path of the gutter in the past, Jesus forgives you and will lift you up to a place of honor anyway! All you need to do is accept Jesus as LORD and try and be good and loving to all.
John 3:16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.
Its hard to explain knowing Jesus. Nothing you want is more satisfying. God gives us infinite wishes and eternal life, but won’t let us mess his plan up. His plan which is unfolding successfully and has already won ultimate victory is to redeem mankind from evil ways.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
Think about Eternity. If everyone is good and loving, we’ll make lots of friendships. Being good and loving is what is needed for a peaceful eternity.
And here is a tip from those of you inexperienced in true love of family or friendship. The more you love someone and are loved the more pleasant it is to spend time with them. Everyone is different, and the love blossoms in a way indescribable or unexpected. Love grows over time. And in Heaven there will likely be billions or more of people and angels to meet and befriend. And I think animals will likely be able to communicate so you have zillions of more friends there. And God can always create more beings if he wanted. The intensity of enjoying existing will only grow forever.
So having this knowledge that any fantasy is possible with the power of God and living forever in love gives me a solid hope. I’m satisfied in life. God satisfies like nothing else.
