The reason racism is logically incompatible with Christianity is simple. Racism says to hate some people. Christianity says to love everyone even people who are your enemy.
Any time you hate someone or worse yet have a drive to act on the hate, you’re sinning and should ask God for forgiveness. We’re called to follow what Jesus asks and he wants us to love others more than we love ourselves!
Romans 13:10 If you love others, you will never do them wrong; to love, then, is to obey the whole Law.
Matthew 22:34 When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they came together, 35 and one of them, a teacher of the Law, tried to trap him with a question. 36 “Teacher,” he asked, “which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and the most important commandment. 39 The second most important commandment is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ 40 The whole Law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
Leviticus 19:17 “Do not bear a grudge against others, but settle your differences with them, so that you will not commit a sin because of them. 18 Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the Lord.
My prayer is that you’re able to train yourself to always have love in your heart. We should love everyone so when we get to God, we can say we did good to his other Creations that he also loves dearly.
