A punk rock star who I’m keeping anonymous was being pressured into making a statement about the state of the world and wars going on. He paraphrased said he’s sad, lamenting, and hard to take in, and it wasn’t nice for someone to pressure him.
I’ve been talking him for some time about conflicting world views, and I love the man, his music is an inspiration. You can tell he really stands for love and freedom.
Seriously seriously seriously, lay off him on this one. The man’s a thinker! He’s been really really paying attention to everything in the world. He’s been reflecting on change. Don’t force the man to make open statements when everyone’s all dying and suffering.
He is a very intelligent human being just like the other guy in his band. They get their information from conflicting sources being in Hollywood and all. There is wisdom in being quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger. He is being exemplary there. It’s hard to talk when sad.
So the wise and intelligent punks know to stand for free speech, that we should stand up against the rise of totalitarianism, that we stand for human rights, love, peace, free expression, and against naz1s and terrorists… Yet, it wasn’t obvious this was coming to all.
He is very very very very wise to not take a stance without researching current events, and the tides of mankind.A lot of times, it’s not a good idea to get involved in other’s business.This is a time where words you speak could get one killed, so only speak with conviction.

I’m not speaking for Him. I’m just saying he’s wise staying out of this situation. Terrorists will kill you if you speak out against them. But If you speak against terrorists wrong, it encourages more war. We’re against war. Thinking is needed.
Things that naz1s and terrorists hate the most is people having fun. They don’t have fun, yet want you to be just like them. The way I’ve combated the rise of naz1ism and totalitarianism since 2018 is just dancing in public, being nice to everyone, lifting everyone’s spirits.
So don’t go seeking big public figures to corner and make them feel awkward. Nah, seek to make the world a better place. Go outside, walk on curbs, open doors for people, smile at your neighbor,let them know you love em just because they’re on Earth too
What’s the best way to make others happy? Now that’s an art form. Offer to mow their grass for free, or rake leaves or shovel snow… Serving your neighbor is the best way to show love… But small talking them when they seem bored is cool. You can hang out anyplace ur welcome.
If you show up at a gas station that has a sign that says ‘No Loitering’, yet the gas station attendant is bored and you talk with them about fun stuff, they’ll probably let you come hang out any time you want! Iggy Pop said when they close punk venues, we show up at the library

Literally go around your town to businesses that have people bored at their store, and see if they want to small talk… Small talk enough, you have a new hang out, a new friend. Make enough friends in the community, you’re a local dude loved more than famous dudes.
Love and hate are both fires. We burn with one and squelch the other. The fire we burn with burns our fellow man, sets our community on fire and turns around and burns us. Love leads to pleasure, hate leads to pain and hell on Earth. Love even in the face of hate…
It’s not an easy situation to make a quick reply. No, this is the time for lamenting. This is the time to go into deep solace. There is tremendous, tremendous wisdom he exemplified by not taking a quick unthinking stance here. Hats off my man. Don’t let em pressure you.
I believe God is Love and not an idol of control or selfishness. So I pray to the God of Love when I lament.
At the end of the day, the whole world can be selfish & evil, dropping out of the ways of love.They can abuse you, cheat you, imprison you…
We must stay true to love.
