Expect the Dark before the Dawn.

If things in your life seems out of control, bleak, or that you have only a small chance of succeeding, then you’re in a place where God can win a victory.

In the battle of David vs Goliath, God didn’t pick a bigger giant than Goliath to beat him. God picked a kid in David so that God’s power could be shown.

In the battle of Gideon’s 300, God purposely told over 29000 soldiers to go home so the victory would be credited to God, and now their own strength.

1 Corinthians 1:26 GNT
Now remember what you were, my friends, when God called you. From the human point of view few of you were wise or powerful or of high social standing.

I’m not saying to go out of your way to make yourself weaker, but just to try and humble ourselves. If we boast about our abilities with pride, God doesn’t get the glory from our victories. This is just some stuff to think about. This is similar to the message the preacher touched upon on church on Saturday, but I totally agree with it.

So many of us get caught up with life overwhelming us because we’re not wealthy or powerful enough to make ends meet. So many of us get caught up not finding love. So many of us get caught up with a very difficult job that doesn’t get us ahead. Don’t forget God is with us in all we do. He wants us communicating with him and asking for his help in all things big and small. And maybe we can plan to do something that might seem too big for us because nothing is too big for God.
