Mom will vouch for the events of this first paragraph: Once I prayerfully reached down and grabbed a butterfly. I lifted it up and showed her. She asked how I did that. I told her prayer. Then I tried to launch it in the air, and it stayed grabby grabby on my hand which was funny. Then later it took off.
I was reminded of this after cards with family. I pet my cousin’s old doggo Zowie who used to be really good at chillin on the couch while we watched Penguins games back in the day. I had this dumb game where I grabbed her long shounzer and said,”Got yer shnout”. I dunno, we all get dumb running games jokes, but she likes this one. So I pet her tonight seeing her a bit anxious to see me, and realized that yah we’re all getting old… So I sat down on the dog bed to pet her more, thinking how time goes, and we all getting old, and she deserves knowing she’s loved. She went from interested anxiety to chillin’ passed out. We could all use someone to cast our anxiety away and help us chill more.
As I exited the house, the stars tonight are easily seen, and the moon was framed in the silhouette of the treescape as soon as I exited her house. I love nights like that when you can see the beauty of the cosmos… But something extra special happened.
I was somewhere in the backroads between Hermine Number two and Rilton, a young lone deer off to the side of the road wasn’t too worried about my car. So I slowed down, and it slowed down. It stopped and I stopped. No one’s out and about. Just me chillin in my car with high beams on, and deer like off to the left of the road about 20 yards.
I watched the deer for a few moments. Its ear flickering, as interested in seeing me as I was seeing it. I was humming or whistling a tune so I didn’t stop. I wondered if it thought it was cool. Here’s me, trying to be cool all the time, trying to even impress a deer, lol. Anyway I was thinking if I should even video it cuz like you lose a moment when you are busy video taping it when you could be experiencing it. I pray about it and feel like filming and you got this video. Uploading it later, its taking a long time
It’s just fun seeing some beauty in the world still as things have been accelerating towards hate, lies and control in the news and politics like never before. The department of homeland security should not be in the business of policing what people say. Besides being unconstitutional for a random group in the government to outlaw free speech, that’s how all totalitarian governments got their roots in nationalized evil censorship. DHS didn’t shut it down, just moved it into the shadows. This is unsurprising from what a bad guy freedom taking group would do… And the hate online is insane… I am a soul arcade video gamer, 10,000+ hours in arcades over 15 years, never saw ONE incident of hate. I have a friend just like me, same experience, 10,000 hours gaming over 15 years, not one incident of hate… But online gamers, kids these days, they see hundreds of incidents of hate a day. So as hate escalates in politics and online, it’s nice to just be cool with friends, family, pets and even God’s pets out in wilderness. Love is what connects us as humanity to one another, without it, there is nothing left.
That said, I am not against hunting in any way. Some people think everything has to be a divide and take sides, but you can understand the cosmic relation involved that you can hunt and also care for nature too. There’s a time for everything. You can admire the beauty of a fish in an aquarium at the same restaurant you’re about to have sushi. And that is one of life’s mysteries, that sometimes something that is good in one time and place is bad in another time and space. Everything you think of that is good could be bad. ie: Water? You can drink it or slip and fall on it. You could ride down the river, or be swept away in the currents. Seriously, if you never did it before, think of just about anything you think is of use and realize it could have negative features for its almost always the case.
Ecclesisastes 3: ‘A Time for Everything’
1
Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.
2
He sets the time for birth and the time for death,
the time for planting and the time for pulling up,
3
the time for killing and the time for healing,
the time for tearing down and the time for building.
4
He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy,
the time for mourning and the time for dancing,
5
the time for making love and the time for not making love,
the time for kissing and the time for not kissing.
6
He sets the time for finding and the time for losing,
the time for saving and the time for throwing away,
7
the time for tearing and the time for mending,
the time for silence and the time for talk.
8
He sets the time for love and the time for hate,
the time for war and the time for peace.
