Mixed Fabrics?

Proverbs 18:2 A fool does not care whether he understands a thing or not; all he wants to do is show how smart he is.

Any time someone brings up mixed fabrics as an attack against the Bible, you know immediately they are not interested in learning theology. They want to put you on the defensive as if your beliefs need to be justified.

CH Spurgeon- “Defend the Bible? I would as soon defend a lion! Unchain it and it will defend itself.”

Proverbs 26:4 If you answer a silly question, you are just as silly as the person who asked it.

Not all questions need to be answered. Some people just want to be as offensive and foolish as they want to be. I just mute them. They weren’t going to listen to me anyway.

There is an obvious reason why God wanted the Hebrews to wear what amounted to a uniform to differentiate them from the neighboring cultures in the same way many groups today wear uniforms. It may be used to identify those who are on your team. Again, this is the right answer, but not all questions are deserving of an answer because they’re not being asked for the right reasons.

When someone trolls you, you’re not to feed the trolls. However, if you respond by trolling them back in a way that does not validate their true motives. Go for.

Proverbs 26:5 Give a silly answer to a silly question, and the one who asked it will realize that he’s not as smart as he thinks.
