Faith Club Church #15: Do Good to Others

Opening:
The message of the Good News is that we’re going to Heaven so we will have infinite experiences there. We need not to experience things down here. Instead we should die to selfishness and live for others. This means getting by, and if you can get by very well, lift up others so they can get by too.

Prayer of Forgiveness:
God, it is so hard to know what is your will in our life. We might not even know you exist. God, do everything you can to push us along the optimal path for our life where we experience the greatest joy, fortune, blessings, love and help your kingdom. Amen.

Movements of the Holy Spirit:
I told my grandmother,”Hey, my phone lasted me like 7-10 years. It never had a chip in the glass.” I feel like God preserved my phone like he preserved the Israelites sandals in the desert. I said to her something like,”Hey, if my phone breaks, I would almost be happy because I need a new phone.” Within 1-2 minutes, my phone falls out of my pocket and my car runs it over… breaking the screen! It was a total act of God. There are a series of cracks which look like three crosses together. I should take a picture.

[This happened two years ago. My grandmother passed away this year and it was a very hard year for me. Praise God for the path of the cross. We do not need to win in life to get to Heaven. We just need to be loving and follow Jesus.]

Today’s Blessing:
Do you know that while we are to live selflessly for others, God actually lets us pray anything we want for ourselves. You can even pray a selfish prayer for yourself if you want. God loves to hear from us. If you want something awesome in your life, just ask your Father, God Almighty.

Praise for God:
God loves us. He stays with us always. He never leaves or abandons us. He is very creative. He is very smart. He has a good sense of humor. God is the type of guy you want to spend forever with, and we get to because of Jesus. Praise Jesus. Praise God the Father. Praise the Holy Spirit.

Prayer Cues:

Pray for people with cancer that they get healed or at least pain free existences.

Pray people’s pets do not get sick.

Pray for people in hospitals to get healed.

Scripture of the Day:

Psalm 138:8 You will do everything you have promised; LORD, your love is eternal. Complete the work that you have begun.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all,”If you want to come with me, you must forget yourself, take up your cross every day, and follow me” (aka die to self)

*Notice he did not say to stop being soldiers, but to be honest ones.
