In Heaven, we won’t be able to give money to help someone else in their suffering because no one is suffering in Heaven. Lets work hard in this fallen mortal world so we can shoulder the burdens of others. We’ll live forever, but first we need to live in this fallen world where people need our help. So lets live like superheros and give of ourselves to save lives.
Extra: God is real. He wants to be your friend. Jesus loves you
John 15:13The greatest love you can have for your friends is to give your life for them.14And you are my friends if you do what I command you.15I do not call you servants any longer, because servants do not know what their master is doing. Instead, I call you friends, because I have told you everything I heard from my Father.
God commands us to love. This is because if we hate each other, we end up harming each other and this is not good. We must love. As we love and try to be good to everyone, people get stoked. It feels good to be loved. You can’t make others love you, but you can love them even if they hate you. By loving in the face of hate, you may defuse hate. Both love and hate spread like wildfire, so spread love! It is the way of Jesus.
So if you’re all in for the cause of love, Jesus is stoked that you’re doing it right. We won’t do everything perfect, but we can strive to be our best at love. Trying to do right is a huge thing in Christianity. If you’re honest in your heart about repenting of sin, you’re trying your best to not do evil and to do good. And as you try your best to follow Jesus, Jesus gets stoked and God calls you his friend!
God loves you now. God loves you too much to stay in the same place. Remember, when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of sin, the tree of life was restricted to them until Jesus granted us freedom from sin. If we are to live forever and be happy, peaceful and heavenly, we need Jesus and to try and resist sin. So God loves you now, and try and become a better person to help others.
Often people will go to you as a Christian,”Why are you a Christian, so you think that you’re better than me?” You always answer this,”No, I don’t think I’m better than you. I am only better than the person I used to be.”
