You hear the modern atheists all parrot each other: God can’t be real. Christians are bad people because they don’t believe in science. Science is the way. Christianity is just there as a form of control. Let me tackle them in a way they won’t get up. You can learn from these tactics and also pin some atheists into their flawed position.
First off, if atheists claim absolutely that God can’t be real, fine, that’s your opinion. It is wrong, but that alone is just a random statement with nothing to back it up. But where atheists get themselves into real big boy trouble is when they espouse science to make that claim.
I’m a scientist myself, graduate of Carnegie Mellon, one of the smartest in my class. Excuse me while I boast, remember even Paul boasted for the Glory of God. I think all of you Christians gonna like this one as it plays out so bear with me as I go through the blessings that God has bestowed upon me. And the atheists will be wrangling their hands and exercising cognitive dissonance while Jesus stays rent free in their heads, hopefully for eternity. I’m gonna boast on what God made me in order to shame atheists who look up to those who are intelligent when they can be praying to God for more intelligence, wisdom, strength and education themselves.
At an early age, I was into computer programming since the earliest 1980s at age 4. At age 5, I would do a math training education software on TI-99, to date the best educational software I have ever seen before or since! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHHFZ18tPwM So since I used this software for hundreds of hours, when I got to Elementary school, I didn’t have to try. In fact all through all of school, I didn’t have to try but I did try hard. I just did well, so well, I got into gifted. I got there by beating an IQ exam so hard, the testers were looking at me in fear and took the book off me and shook their heads looking at each other… Like I was not of this world… Of course, I’m not of this world, I’m one of God’s children, and when you have God, you’re capable of anything. Long story short, I did really well and then had a few minutes left after doing all their questions they expected, and turned the page of the test, invented division in a few moments and started answering them too.
I graduated High School in AP, only missed one or two questions on the SAT, got a full scholarship to Penn State. I chose to go to Carnegie Mellon University though for they said I could do disease research. I told my mom,”I’m gonna go to Carnegie Mellon instead of taking a free scholarship, because I want to help society and find cures for diseases.” I’m a pure computer science guy basically, since I never stopped on that computer and video games since 1980. Right now, I’m sitting on 150,000 hours of gaming, coding and design which is probably #1 hours in the world. So at Carnegie Mellon University I chose a Computers and Science track. I thought it was 90% computers and 10% science, but it was the reverse. They wouldn’t let me change courses to pure computers despite them saying its a new track… And then I almost never got the courses I wanted, but I excelled at physics while at home I’m trying to make the world’s first Massively Multiplayer Online game (like World of Warcaft is). So I’m in an upper level physics course at one of the tip top best schools for sciences on Earth, and all my peers also very gifted, smart and educated try hards are doing homework. There’s 20 questions and they’re taking 1.5 hours per question. They look at me,”Jim, you didn’t even start!” I told em,”Why should I be worried?” They said,”These questions are hard and we won’t finish before we need to turn em in. You better start!” So I start. I answer 20 Rocket Science questions in 20 minutes. They look at me weird like I fudged it to screw with em… Then they checked my answers with the answers… I was right on 100% of em. They’re getting em wrong 1/2 the time and taking 90 minutes each on pace for getting em answered in 20 hours. I got 100% of em right and only in 1 minute each. When they saw this… They gave me that same terrified look the IQ exam instructors gave me like I am not of this world… Again, I’m of God, not of this world, I’m just passing through. If this was monopoly, I’d be just visiting Babylon, not in it. I graduated with a degree in scientific computing and a minor in physics. Now I write research level algorithms, know what’s around the corner for tech so much my friends say I should make a website called “I Thought Of It First.Com”, I even know how to make the level of Artificial Intelligence you’d see in sci fi movies. I might get around to making it too after I finish some projects.
2 Corinthians 11:16 I repeat: no one should think that I am a fool. But if you do, at least accept me as a fool, just so I will have a little to boast of. 17 Of course what I am saying now is not what the Lord would have me say; in this matter of boasting I am really talking like a fool. 18 But since there are so many who boast for merely human reasons, I will do the same. 19 You yourselves are so wise, and so you gladly tolerate fools! 20 You tolerate anyone who orders you around or takes advantage of you or traps you or looks down on you or slaps you in the face. 21 I am ashamed to admit that we were too timid to do those things! But if anyone dares to boast about something—I am talking like a fool—I will be just as daring. 22 Are they Hebrews? So am I. Are they Israelites? So am I. Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I. 23 Are they Christ’s servants? I sound like a madman—but I am a better servant than they are! I have worked much harder, I have been in prison more times, I have been whipped much more, and I have been near death more often. 24 Five times I was given the thirty-nine lashes by the Jews; 25 three times I was whipped by the Romans; and once I was stoned. I have been in three shipwrecks, and once I spent twenty-four hours in the water. 26 In my many travels I have been in danger from floods and from robbers, in danger from my own people and from Gentiles; there have been dangers in the cities, dangers in the wilds, dangers on the high seas, and dangers from false friends. 27 There has been work and toil; often I have gone without sleep; I have been hungry and thirsty; I have often been without enough food, shelter, or clothing. 28 And not to mention other things, every day I am under the pressure of my concern for all the churches. 29 When someone is weak, then I feel weak too; when someone is led into sin, I am filled with distress. 30 If I must boast, I will boast about things that show how weak I am. 31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus—blessed be his name forever!—knows that I am not lying. -Good News Translation
So Paul boasted on God. I too boast on God, and though I am smart, I cannot get by without his Grace ever. I’m weak in my ability in many things, but God made me a smart and capable scientist. So let me bring you to the fun part.
Remember atheists who claim God can’t be real? They also claim everything they know and trust is from science. See if the reader can see where they trapped themselves in a logical fallacy before I conclude. Does anyone like space exploration? I love it. It helps mankind go to the final frontier. The pursuit of which causes us to have to solve many unique challenges and get us thinking about the nature of who we are, survival, research and engineering. This has brought us such great knowledge as to revolutionize living on Earth from farming, housing, appliances, infrastructure, and even accelerates research to do more of that. In short the money we put into space research is one of the best investments we can make and pays dividends towards the future which we should all be investing in for a better world for our children. So space research is good, and has anyone paid attention to the Mars Rovers? I was online for both of them as they turned online on Mars. Curiosity happened almost 20 years ago! Besides that I’m getting old(We all getting old), is that after almost 20 years, we still don’t know if life is on Mars. We don’t know if there is life on Venus. If you think life is on Uranus, your head is up something or other(Excuse edge case humor, but to get through to atheists: Sometimes you have to speak their language.). We don’t know if life is is on any planets, asteroids, comets, open space in our solar system. We don’t know if there is life on other hundreds of billions of stellar systems outside our solar system. There is like 2 trillion galaxies with various numbers of stellar systems, many with billions of star systems. So the very science by which an atheist worships as truth is telling the atheist,”Yo, we don’t know if life is anywhere in 99.9999999999999999999999999% of the observable universe.(pardon me if I’m off by an order of magnitude)” So if science is telling the atheist that we don’t know if life exists outside Earth in this universe, why is this atheist rejecting his only source of truth! For the atheist claims to know for an absolute fact that life does not exist outside this universe. In fact Jesus is literally the spirit being of Life manifested in human likeness. And besides, God does what he wants. He isn’t gonna capitulate to doing the same miracle over and over because man demands it. God is not the play thing of kings.
Proverbs 26:5 Give a silly answer to a silly question, and the one who asked it will realize that he’s not as smart as he thinks.
John 14:6 Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.
So after completely destroying the standard atheist nonsense of them claiming to know God exists while science claims to know it has no information on that. Lets get to the actual meat of the topic which is destroying more atheist nonsense. Atheists like to say religion is a form of control. The pastor just wants you to come to church so he can live without doing anything in life except reading the Bible, writing sermons, praying, spending most of his days in hospitals around dying and suffering people. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like how much it hurts to watch people die that you love. And the pastor is always with them suffering people side by side. And worse yet, he has to marry them, knowing full well that they’ll be married and be suffering. Most pastors would rather be doing something more self centered if they didn’t have Jesus Christ to tell em to die to self and serve others.
Okay that last part about the marriage being suffering is a joke. Married people in the LORD often are a lot happier, just because they pray and God blesses em. Karl Marx called religion the “Opium of the masses”, and God does get you high. Take a nature walk, and praise him for butterflies of plain and eloquent beauty. Praise him and thank him for the plants and flowers that show up even on weeds. Praise him for the ever changing sky and its beauty. Praise him for cool animals when they pass by. When you thank God for things, he often blesses you with more enjoyment of them. The marriage house and all of its rooms and occupants and visors is no different.
Right away, if pastors do not benefit, who does. Well all those coffers in tithes they go somewhere, right? Yes, and it ain’t all going to the pope so he can swim in a big building full of gold coins. Most tithe money goes to the poor, the suffering, the sick, food banks and people who need money, the deaf, blind, widows, orphans, and other ways to help people out. Jesus teaches us not to live for ourselves, but to help others. One of the hardest parables to understand is the one about the corrupt manager because the corrupt manager is ourselves. God is the master.
Luke 16:1 Jesus said to his disciples, “There was once a rich man who had a servant who managed his property. The rich man was told that the manager was wasting his master’s money, 2 so he called him in and said, ‘What is this I hear about you? Turn in a complete account of your handling of my property, because you cannot be my manager any longer.’ 3 The servant said to himself, ‘My master is going to dismiss me from my job. What shall I do? I am not strong enough to dig ditches, and I am ashamed to beg. 4 Now I know what I will do! Then when my job is gone, I shall have friends who will welcome me in their homes.’ 5 So he called in all the people who were in debt to his master. He asked the first one, ‘How much do you owe my master?’ 6 ‘One hundred barrels of olive oil,’ he answered. ‘Here is your account,’ the manager told him; ‘sit down and write fifty.’ 7 Then he asked another one, ‘And you—how much do you owe?’ ‘A thousand bushels of wheat,’ he answered. ‘Here is your account,’ the manager told him; ‘write eight hundred.’ 8 As a result the master of this dishonest manager praised him for doing such a shrewd thing; because the people of this world are much more shrewd in handling their affairs than the people who belong to the light.” 9 And Jesus went on to say, “And so I tell you: make friends for yourselves with worldly wealth, so that when it gives out, you will be welcomed in the eternal home. 10 Whoever is faithful in small matters will be faithful in large ones; whoever is dishonest in small matters will be dishonest in large ones. 11 If, then, you have not been faithful in handling worldly wealth, how can you be trusted with true wealth? 12 And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what belongs to you? 13 “No servant can be the slave of two masters; such a slave will hate one and love the other or will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”-Good News Translation
It is hard to understand us both being corrupt managers of things God entrusted us. It really does take a while for us to realize we’re corrupt, we’re sinners. We’re using too many resources on ourselves, when so many people need help. Many get obsessed with worldly Babylon success, and figure money can help us get a more attractive spouse. Then you have kids and think money will ensure their legacy. The greed can enshroud someone from cradle to hell if you don’t break out of it. Ever waste a bunch of money and go,”Well money is meaningless anyway. Life seems meaningless, might as well be happy for a little bit?”. That is ignorance mixed with despair, both of which God wants to destroy. Money can save lives. 33 cents a day saves and improves a life to people in impoverished countries. If enough people donated, World Hunger would go away. Money can be used to help people in our country. Money can be reinvested in your tools so you can have a better business, and more efficiently produce for others even making more money. This is the root of capitalism, to reinvest in yourself and choose how to work. Capitalism isn’t flawed. Man is flawed, we’re greedy and corrupt by nature. Let us be more generous and donate to the poor, and the easy mode is to drop what we can spare it in the collection plate.

Finally the easiest way to see Christianity is not a method of control is that every country that seems to be “huge jerks” out there seem to first persecute Christians or try and pervert scripture before they go totalitarian. Remember 1940s Germany? They first poisoned theology to be accepting of the wrong things then killed dissenters and our brothers in the Abrahamic faith. And if you reel it back to the sins of early America, people corrupted the Bible to justify subverting others as slaves when the Bible says all races are loved by God. People today try and say America is bad because it sinned in the past, yet things are better every day with more loving people. People who try and say America are saying other countries do it better. Well look at China, if you peacefully protest there, they will put you in a paddy wagon, haul you off to a hospital, and forcibly harvest your organs for the greed of their corrupt leaders.
In case you think it is strange to hear of how terrible Chinese leaders are and abuse their people and you do not believe me, this stuff has been in the main stream news for many many years. We know the news often bends the truth, but they thankfully aren’t known to report on falsehoods, just spin facts:

Frankly, I’m not sure how the Chinese people allow this to go on. Back in the 1950s, sure they may have had a perceived overpopulation problem, but I think they were not right to be forced to expose their children by those corrupt leaders then. Now, China is one of the tip top richest countries on Earth. China has enough money to feed their people 10-20 times over, but they don’t because they want to exercise control and fool their people into militarizing. In fact if China fed their people and their population boomed 10x as much, these new people would find out new research techniques and would be industrious as well making China able to sustain 10x more again. A country’s citizens are not the enemy. Leaders willing to murder their people because of control fetishes are the problem. There a are generally a lot of cool and loving people who live in every country ruled by a despot. You see North Korea starve their people and make artificual scarcity to get army recruits, China does that to some degree, and Iran starves Yemen to get soldiers too. It was in the news that Covid was extremely like an act Bioterrorism by China. When leaders are willing to kill their own people and people globally with the lie that they have too many people in their own country… Then the leaders start to fear the people for doing such evil when discovered. The people fear the leaders. And the police fear the leaders and people. Thus is the paranoia that accompanies communism. The saying,”Better dead than red.” is a true saying.
Evidence of Covid being Chinese Bioterrosm:

There were many many other reputable sources reporting this too, but it is hard to search for now.
Don’t forget the first case of human acquired bird flu occurred in China in the spring 2021:
So 1940 Germany, Early America, China all tried to subvert or destroy the Christian faith in their country before controlling em. The soviets were known as Godless Communists because they subverted Christianity. Karl Marx was no friend of Christians calling it “The opium of the masses.” We look at Iran, and Christians are tortured until they submit and then probably killed anyway. If you look throughout history, Christianity is either persecuted out of a country or subverted with oppositional teachings to God before The Chains are on. Even the famous example of crusades wasn’t even of Christian motive, but of greed and corrupt authority in the papacy at that time. Just because corrupt priests occur, doesn’t mean the religion is corrupt.
Remember the Sons of Eli who mocked God while eating sacrifices raw, sleeping with women who came to the ten of the Ark of the Covenant, and disrespected God in other ways. God had them shamed and killed. No one can claim to be a child of God to cover for doing evil. The corrupt Pope back then is no different. And today’s example of corrupt priests is another. Satan loves to dress up in clergy robes to do evil while claiming it was God. God however, wants us to always be good and loving. Corrupt priests by the very definition of corruption are not doing what they should be doing.
So we can clearly see that Christianity seems to be a barrier to control, why is this. Well first, to do offensive wars, you need to destroy the notion of love and spur hate and jealousy. A good people will listen to John the Baptist and not do offensive wars for loot. Besides the time for offensive wars being profitable is far gone. If you go over Japan and bomb Nintendo and Sony headquarters, you’ll have less video games to play. If you bomb their factories, you have less goods to buy. We’re in an age where wars for offensive conquering is no longer a thing, unless you’re a power tripping weirdos who gets off on control like leaders of China and Iran. I mean even if you could fight a war and it be profitable, nuclear weapons are common place. World War 3 could result in all of humanity being destroyed. If these rich leaders of other countries were sane, they’d enjoy their attractive wife, enjoy entertainment, and order some door dash and chill… What goes through a person’s mind to set the very forest they live in on fire and expect to not be burned? This just goes to show that people can be wealthy and powerful without actually having much intelligence.
Yet at the same time Christians are called to respect authority. We’re still to obey the Ten Commandments. Mosaic law has influenced the law of a majority of the entire world! In fact man’s law is there often to make sure people live together in love and don’t hurt each other. Christians love living in love with their neighbor and helping everyone they can. Christians are sheep led by the shepherd and are not to be feared by honest authorities. Authorities who are corrupt and evil though, are not there from God and are not to be expected. God himself will remove them personally in most situations. So if a leader wants a peaceful nation with citizens out to help the country, he promotes and allows Christians to live there. If a leader wants a nation that he can control, and manipulate with hate and jealousy, then he has to attempt to get rid of Christianity. Remember they even tried to get rid of Jesus, but he just came back from the dead. As we as Christ’s brothers and sisters will as well. Christianity is a barrier towards control making it laughable to be called a religion of control. This is just as laughable as a science worshiping atheist to say that God can’t be real. These stances hold less water than the crack pots pushing em. I hope I have armed my fellow Christians with the weapons to destroy the fortresses of the enemy which frankly are about as strong as a house of cards built on a tower of Jello.

John 10:1 Jesus said, “I am telling you the truth: the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The man who goes in through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him; the sheep hear his voice as he calls his own sheep by name, and he leads them out. 4 When he has brought them out, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. 5 They will not follow someone else; instead, they will run away from such a person, because they do not know his voice.” 6 Jesus told them this parable, but they did not understand what he meant. 7 So Jesus said again, “I am telling you the truth: I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All others who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate. Those who come in by me will be saved; they will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness. 11 “I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep. 12 When the hired man, who is not a shepherd and does not own the sheep, sees a wolf coming, he leaves the sheep and runs away; so the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them. 13 The hired man runs away because he is only a hired man and does not care about the sheep. 14-15 I am the good shepherd. As the Father knows me and I know the Father, in the same way I know my sheep and they know me. And I am willing to die for them. 16 There are other sheep which belong to me that are not in this sheep pen. I must bring them, too; they will listen to my voice, and they will become[a] one flock with one shepherd. 17 “The Father loves me because I am willing to give up my life, in order that I may receive it back again. 18 No one takes my life away from me. I give it up of my own free will. I have the right to give it up, and I have the right to take it back. This is what my Father has commanded me to do.” -Good News Translation
Finally: Please pray for James Webb telescope. It is supposed to be several orders of magnitude more powerful than the Hubble Telescope. The Hubble Telescope has brought many beautiful, glorious and awe inspiring views of space that God has created. The James Webb telescope will bring images of much better resolution, and get this, on a different electromagnetic spectrum… So the images will look vastly different than Hubble’s! In addition to beauty, the knowledge mankind gains will improve our knowledge of physics which improves all our sciences and then technologies we use for getting by at home, work and farming. A prayer for the James Webb telescope and space travel is a prayer for the future of humanity for research benefits our future. Amen.
