You Will Be Insulted.

Your faith is a positive sum gain for spreading it to others if you stay on the foundation of Jesus and you're not blown about by the wind. If you approach as many people as you can and tell them,"God loves you. Jesus is LORD. So love everyone", you'll impact people's faith positively. The problem that some run into is that they're discouraged when enemies of the faith insult them. You can't let the enemy get you down. Just dust off your feet and go to the next person. You can't say everyone's name in the world before you die, so there's no point wasting your time with people who don't want to hear you.

Matthew 5:11 (Jesus said) "Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers. 12 Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted." Jesus says you're blessed when you're insulted for spreading the Good News. This means you're blessed if they accept Jesus. And you're blessed if they insult you for it. What you can't do is go,"Well no one wants to hear me preach, many people are insulting me, I'm going to quit." You can't quit telling people about Jesus' wonderful love for them. This is what we do in this life. We tell people there is hope, and we help them ourselves. If you've quit in the past, or haven't evangelized, now is the time to start anew.

From my personal experiences some people like to hear the message and already accepted Jesus, some people like to hear the message and haven't accepted the message, some people give no distinct response, and some actively hate on you. John 15:18 GNT "If the world hates you, just remember that it has hated me first. Even if you only get a success rate of 1% people that you increase their faith, this is worth your time and devotion. As long as your educated about God through the Bible and studies, you'll do more help than harm in preaching about God. Like I said, you can go around and tell people,"God loves them. Jesus is LORD. So love everyone.", and you don't need to go much further. You'll help people so long as you also live in love.

Often times the people who will hate on you try and hide their enmity. They'll try and ask a baited question to try and insult you. The key is that you don't have to answer every question they ask you. The more experienced you get, the more you can tell an honest seeker from someone who wants to get in an argument with you.Proverbs 17:14 GNT The start of an argument is like the first break in a dam; stop it before it goes any further. If someone sees you as their enemy, you're likely not going to win them over to faith. The more you argue with someone, the more intrenched they get. It is better just to avoid them and move to the next person.

You're not insulating yourself with people who love you. This is a known mistake. If the only people you spend time with is your friends and family, you can't preach to new people. It is good to reinforce people's faith you meet and keep in touch with new acquaintances to see how their walk is coming along. You can do more than plant seeds of faith. You can water them or transplant them away from weeds. It is God who does the growing though. In general though, you always want to be doing planting when you can. Tell everyone you can that God loves them.

The message you preach is precious even if people disrespect it. Remember our goal in life is to please God, not man. So if people insult you or God, try and make you feel bad, and don't want to hear it, just move on to the next person. Don't let someone's opinion of you reflect against your self esteem. You're a child of the most high God, and he has much good to say about you. When you meet God, he'll see you as pure as Jesus without a flaw. God will congratulate you on all the good things you've done in his service and he won't shame you. God esteems you highly. Even in reading this article, God knows your heart wants to learn more about him. God has much to praise you for. So don't let man's opinion of you matter(especially those who reject the Gospel). Some people really want to hear that God loves them, so get out there and do it.
