God is real. Have enough faith to always be good and loving. The way to live in life is hard to know outside of God. I’m reminded of Doors’ Lyrics to Riders on the Storm: “Into this house we’re born. Into this world we’re thrown. Like a dog without a bone. An actor out on loan.” Without God, you have no guidance on what is right or wrong. Anything can be justified especially if you get selfish and me-centric. This is because one who doesn’t have God hasn’t seen the light that guides you through life.
John 14:6 Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.” (GNT).
With God, we learn to be good and loving always. We’re supposed to be honest always and cheat no one. We’re supposed to help others in their walk. We’re supposed to work more than we would for ourselves to help the poor more. At the same time, we should strive to live on less to have more to help the poor.
Matthew 25:34 Then the King will say to the people on his right, ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father! Come and possess the kingdom which has been prepared for you ever since the creation of the world. 35 I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, 36 naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me.’ 37 The righteous will then answer him, ‘When, Lord, did we ever see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you a drink? 38 When did we ever see you a stranger and welcome you in our homes, or naked and clothe you? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?’ 40 The King will reply, ‘I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these followers of mine, you did it for me!’ (GNT).
We do all this because Jesus died for the times when we were evil. Jesus died for our sins. We’re forgiven. As such, he is taking us to Heaven after we die. Live a life of service and help others. Then end up in Heaven where we’ll be satisfied, and every moment is better than our best moment on Earth.
John 3:16 16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. (GNT).
I know God is real. God loves you. Jesus is real. Jesus is LORD! Have enough faith to be good and loving always. I pray you have more faith in Jesus.
